Bonus Activity #2: Taste Test

We never know if we like something until we try it. This is where the fruit & vegetable taste test comes in. Next time you go to the grocery store or farmer’s market, allow your kids to pick 1 new fruit or vegetable to try. When you get home, work together to find a recipe everyone likes (or eat it raw - make sure to research which parts are edible first). At the same time, every family member gets to taste the fruit or vegetable and then together rate your fruit or vegetable with a thumbs up, thumbs down, or thumbs sideways.

This is an especially great activity for picky eaters. If you have a picky eater, download my FREE picky eater e-book today.
